I consider myself a matchmaker of sorts.
As your agent, it is my responsibility and duty to help match your wants and needs with the perfect home. If we don’t find what we want in the available inventory, I will keep looking. I have a team of professionals at my disposal that will help me find the perfect house, even if I have to knock on doors and try to get them to sell!
You can expect me to give you my honest opinion—that is if you want it. I will make recommendations and observations about the properties we visit. Oftentimes, a home could be made perfect with just a bit of TLC; a bit of paint here, changing a wall there, etc. There are also those houses that seem perfect except for some external factors. These factors may affect the resale value or even your comfort. It is my duty to make sure you are aware of these factors.
I will run analyses of the area and determine the proper pricing of the property. One of my goals is that you get the best value for your money. We will all be educated before we make an offer.
From me you can expect diligence. I will be familiar with every new home that comes on the market that you might be interested in.
And I will be your agent until you say that you no longer need me. My job is not to simply get you into a contract—it is to stand beside you the entire duration of the transaction and afterwards to make sure your expectations have been met. I want to be your Realtor for life, not just the life on one purchase. I cannot do that by running off to the next sale and leaving you to fend for yourself. That is my job.
My expectations for you are fairly simple.
I will expect that you have given thought to how you intend to finance you new home. If you do not have a mortgage company, I have the names and numbers of several that would be happy to help you in your new purchase. This decision should be made and you should be pre-approved before we begin to shop. That way we know exactly what range we should be viewing and we’ll be ready to make an offer when the perfect home comes along.
The most important expectation that I have of my clients is one of loyalty. This is not only my passion but it is also my job. By walking into an open house or one advertised as for sale by owner without me, you will jeopardize my ability to represent you and your interests. If you are out on a Sunday afternoon and happen by something, please just call. If I cannot be there, I will make sure you are properly represented. You are never going to bother me by calling; anytime, day or night. I am on duty seven days a week, almost 24 hours a day.
